Aamore Italian Restaurant - Thame - (Near Oxfordshire, london)

Joe Capper Always absolutely fantastic! The staff are so incredibly friendly and always have infectious smiles on their faces - they can brighten anyones day! The food... Oh the food... The scampi is always great. My one criticism is that I have had better batter on scampi elsewhere in the country, but that is a very minor point, its still really good. The chips are great, exactly what you want when you want classic chippy chips. The portions of chips are also huge. The two of us share a small chips with our other items and its always plenty. The battered sausages are really good, taste great and have a lovely batter. The fish is gorgeous. Flakes beautifully, has the skin on so you know its good, and the batter is lovely. Ive never had any complaints with this fish. The mushy peas are usually very good, although the last time they were quite watery and not mushed properly. Possibly not the cheapest fish and chips Ive had in the country, but probably in line with the general area and with the quality of food, service and atmosphere, I have no qualms paying their prices.

Stacie Cole Got married here a year ago, and it was perfect. Fast forward spent our anniversary here food was gorgeous !! Looking for a roast then spread eagle has you covered !! Crab cakes starter very tasty, roast beef with all the trimmings the beef just melted in your mouth. The hotel is over 400 years old and has bucket loads of character. Quirky , comfortable and just gorgeous. If your looking for a cold, modern been there got the t shirt hotel with a average brekki this hotel is not for you. Highly recommend.

CHERRY WALLER We had a table for 4 peoplein the restaurant on a Saturday evening. On arrival we were made welcome and shown to our table and offered drinks. The restaurant was full and the atmosphere was great, the whole place was buzzing. Our food was excellent, the waitresses were very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were given time in between courses and at the end of the evening we were not hustled out of the restaurant, we stayed until it closed. This is the best meal out we have had in a long time and can’t wait to return in the near future.

Honest travels The food is really lovely here & all the team seem really friendly and helpful. The meals we had were definitely home cooked. The price point is good considering all the above too. Would definitely recommend. Also great vegan options - creative , rather than your standard curry or falafel.

Anthony Wilkinson Great food & wine - choose the older part of the restaurant for the best atmosphere. Service was attentive and helpful - the menu currently contains a great cheese soufflé which I would highly recommend. A few glasses of wine each, all finished off with a great Armagnac and the bill was quite reasonable.

Dag Skaseth Passed by on the way to Heathrow and stopped for a "Sunday roast". Incredible food and two very nice ladies running it. Highly recommend a visit. Greetings from Norway.
