1 /5 Dark One: This establishment does not deserve even one star. The behaviour we experienced from the staff was unacceptable and deeply concerning.
Upon entering, we were informed that the kitchen was closed and that food would no longer be served, which we fully understood. However, when we politely asked what time the venue itself closed, the staff member repeatedly responded with “the kitchen is closed” in a dismissive and rude tone. We clarified that we were not asking about the kitchen, but about the closing time of the premises. Despite this, she continued to respond with the same statement and maintained an openly hostile attitude.
What was particularly upsetting was the noticeable change in demeanour once they saw that we were Asian. The facial expressions and attitude shifted immediately, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. The interaction left us feeling that we were treated differently because of our ethnicity.
No customer should be made to feel this way. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this place, especially to anyone of Asian descent. Respect and basic courtesy should be standard in any establishment.
