5 /5 S Lou: Hands down the best sushi in Chelsea / Kens area. Not a single dish that wasn’t fantastic. Every piece of fish was incredibly buttery and fresh. I’d come back in a heartbeat if it wasn’t almost 200£ for a light lunch for two… watch out for the specials written by hand on the blackboard. They’re delightful, but expensive. Guessing they don’t write the price on it for a reason… turns out if we had picked the aburi on the menu (three different types) instead of the specials board we would’ve only paid 24£ instead 48£. So just be mindful if you go. Restaurant is tiny inside and has some seating outside too which I could see being great in summer.
Just to also give a comment on the reviewer below me who gave a single star due to being asked to leave: we were right next to this gentleman (the restaurant has only three tables) - he had been sitting down for barely 2-3minutes before the waitress apologized to him explaining she had made a mistake and given away the table to him albeit it being booked. Yes, it’s not ideal to be seated and then asked to leave, but he had quite literally not even had a chance to look at the menu before being asked to leave. Don’t let this review deter you from trying the food, it’s easy to book and will ensure you don’t experience a similar situation.
