Julia Rose A beautiful Sushi restaurant with amazing decor, tasty food and great wait staff. I have recommended this place often, and will continue to take friends here! Staff are super friendly, and I’m never waiting long for food.

Oluwafunmilayo Remi-Alao It was a lovely experience. Place was welcoming and Gurjeet was wonderful she was lovely has she took our order and help me speak to the kitchen so i can order burger to go. Food came on time and lovely service. Thank you Gurjeet☺️

Armelle Boyer-Rieunier Top quality shawarmas. I keep finding myself very lucky that this shop is local to me. Its affordable and of great quality. The bread is homemade in front of you, the meat is very tasty and the salad fresh. Not sure what else we could ask for given the price.

Madison Ross A very quiet and lovely place to go in the morning. Im sure things get much livelier at night, but for a breakfast date its perfect! The staff are lovely, polite and accommodating, and happy to help with a few small menu changes when it comes to dietary preferences. I would recommend them to anyone in the area, and will be coming back to try out the lunch and dinner menus soon enough!

Ela Gorla Vel is one of my favourite restaurants in Brighton and one of the best South Indian restaurants I ever tried. I spent 5 months in South India in 2024 so when I moved to Brighton I was desperate to find a place where I could enjoy authentic South Indian food and I’m thrilled I discovered Vel. The food tastes exactly like the food I used to eat in India and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for true Indian flavours.
