Carolyn Strand I wanted to grab lunch with our son who is living in Portslade for university and booked Mediterra Kitchen having no idea what it is like! We were so pleasantly surprised with the delicious food and lovely service. The Turkish tea was top notch too. We will definitely be back with our family! Also huge thumbs up for accessibility and accessible facilities which means all our family can join us.

Trying to find a table for 5 at midday for a spontanous roast is a tricky find when you call up most places and theyre fully booked until 5:30pm that evening - we were so lucky that wasnt the case with La Piazza and I imagine its because no one would think that this resturant would do such a great roast! Hoenestly - the portion size inceedible, the beef thin, the pork belly wasnt too crisp that we couldnt bite into the top, so yummy and the chicken was also really really good! All five of us were really happy with our choice. Would defintely go again and recommend to others. Really lovely variation of veggies too.

Ruth Sanchez Another wonderful evening at the little fish market hove . This was our 3rd visit and we enjoyed it just as much as the previous two . The service as always impeccable, not intrusive at all , friendly, chilled and relaxed yet very attentive. Didn’t catch the name of the lady serving us but she was great . The food was phenomenal, each course carefully crafted individually , the flavours were on point and beautiful presented . We love the fact that the meal isn’t rushed and you have the table for the whole evening. Of course it’s not the cheapest meal but it’s worth every penny for the quality of ingredients and the amount of work that Duncan and his team put in every dish they serve . They have just won the best restaurant in Brighton award , very well deserved too!

The food:Star dishes: Chelo kebab and tahdig showcase tender meat and crispy rice; ghorme sabzi has bright, herb-forward flavors. Highlights: Butter-saffron rice aroma, perfectly crisp Tahdig. Value: Reasonable prices for generous portions; good value on a mid-range night. Verdict: Solid, classic Persian fare with standout rice and kebabs. Tahdig and saffron butter are worth trying/ 10 stars, thanks

Lisa Edelman Really good! We had a lovely meal here. We were a party of five, all vegetarian. There was a big selection of vegetarian food, lots of tofu dishes, loads of vegetable dishes and rice and noodley things. They have nice soups too. The food comes out lightening fast and is super fresh and hot. You can order as much and as often as you like. Just make sure you eat it all. Recommended.
