3 /5 R M: Nice restaurant. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was decent. The waiter was super friendly, but she was running the service alone. The prices were good, so I could visit again.

4 /5 Maha Ch: If you are looking for a tasty and filling dinner for a reasonable price this is a great spot. The meats are fresh and cooked in a Kurdish grill style. However I am leaving this review in hopes that the restaurant will take on board this feedback. It has the potential to be a much better place if they work on their hospitality. The service is really poor. Although nobody was particularly rude to me I overheard many instances of poor or rude service in my one hour sitting. For instance, a customer asked for an extra menu and the waitress tossed it onto the table. Another customer asked for something to be removed from their dish and the waitress argued with them. I know it’s not a high class restaurant but even at the local fried chicken shop you’re served with a smile.

3 /5 Vithesh Sakthivel: I’m giving this place 3 stars. If the food taste wasn’t good, I would have given 1 star. The main issue was that the shawarma was served cold. Even though it was supposed to be fresh, the meat felt cold, like leftover meat wrapped with salad. That said, the meat texture, tenderness, and overall taste were actually good, which is why I didn’t rate it lower. Bread/nan was good too as they making fresh. I hope they improve and serve hot, freshly prepared food next time. Other grilled items might be good, but I’m unsure about a return visit.

5 /5 Soran Hamed: Ashtar Grill is an excellent spot for delicious Middle Eastern food! The kebab is perfectly grilled and full of flavor, and the chicken and lamb shawarma are absolutely amazing—tender, juicy, and full of authentic taste. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The service is quick, the food always tastes fresh. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality grilled dishes .

3 /5 Imti: Lamb shawarma with salad - 4/5 This was really nice, great salad and the shawarma was nicely done along with the bread was very tasty Mix grill 3/5 The kofte had to be sent back is it seemed undercooked, they replaced it very quickly.The chicken shish was rubbery but the meat was perfect. So overall a bit of a mix of quality hence a 3. The seating area was very cold even though the heating system which is on the other side was on to max. It did eventually heat up but was uncomfortable initially with the outside temperature nearing 0. We did have to wait a while as during peak times there are a lot of takeaway orders and that may also explain the underdone kofte and overdone chicken as trying to maintain consistency with so many items on the grill does take a lot of skill. I’d go back but probably not during peak times.
