5 /5 Jessica G: Great place with great food! They were so accommodating for me with a last minute valentines reservation. They were packed but kindly made space for us. Service was exceptional, we felt very looked after and the entertainment was good. Would visit again.

1 /5 Ayeesha Haq: If I could give below 1 star I would. We went there for valentines dinner. We booked through google and clearly the booing systems are not connected as the manager looked annoyed the minute we arrived. Luckily he found us a table but I wish he would have turned us away. Firstly took us around 30 mins to get a drink and he acknowledged. We then waited another 20 minutes for starters with an awful live music act which sounded like a drunk cruise ship singer. Starters were mediocre however the main course was inedible. RAW CHICKEN. everyone’s worst nightmare. I sent it back and the manger offered to recook it but my stomach had already turned and I had no appetite. I left in horror. If you would like food poisoning come here

1 /5 Tim Burley: Its changed recently… and not for the better. My wife and I live locally and have been to the Meridiana many times over the years. We have previously always found the food to be very good and the set menus to offer very good value. However, we went for lunch just before Christmas and things had changed. The set Christmas menu wasn’t available unless pre-booked but nor was the lunch set menu despite being advertised at the door and online which was disappointing. My wife’s arancini starter was still cold in the middle and things got worse for the main course. My wife’s chicken breast was bloody in the middle and had to be sent back to be cooked. The ham in my carbonara was slimy and the sauce sticky. It seemed like both dishes had been microwaved from frozen. We didn’t stay for dessert and won’t be returning.

5 /5 Ben Thomas: Yesterday twenty of us sat down for lunch. The pre booking and ordering arrangements had been straightforward and easy with the restaurant being very flexible. The food was excellent, the staff friendly, helpful and efficient and the atmosphere great. We have been holding an annual lunch for a few years but this was probably the best yet. Many thanks to Fernanda and her staff for making it so.

5 /5 Ian King: We are visiting from Australia for five weeks, and just called in for a drink. Atmosphere was so good and the girl who served us was so inviting we said we would come back another day before we left. Two weeks later we stopped in for another drink and decided to stay for a meal. Wonderful food, same welcoming waitress again. The cousins we were staying with who live in Horsley who hadn’t been to the restaurant stall, heard all about this place. We ALL went back today and shared a wonderful lunch, our same waitress was there and a wonderful older man who told lots of ‘nice’ jokes. Love this place. Do yourself a favour and visit whenever you can. Viva La Meridiana!!! Love this restaurant- Sandra King from South Australia
