5 /5 Dimitris Giannoulis: Matiz is a lovely restaurant serving Latin American food (Ecuador).
Its a nice option if in Greenwich as I often find restaurants there a bit more tourist oriented and of lower quality. Mating differs in that regard!
All the dishes we tried were great, both meat and fish options. Their sangria was very good.
The only thing I would have changed was the portion size of the tapas.
5 /5 Macky Mann: Delicious food at a reasonable price. The restaurant is located right in the heart of Greenwich Village, which adds to its charm. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow. Overall, a lovely place worth visiting
5 /5 Jennifer Smith: Delicious food with good serving sizes. Food came quickly as well. Also cheap prices for a large glass of wine!
I had the Ecuadorean ceviche which was SO fresh and tasty, a baked goat cheese and spinach empanada, and the goat cheese salad. The first two would have been enough: large enough for someone who is only somewhat hungry.
Service was decent as well. Would definitely return!
Excellent value for money.
5 /5 Kimi: The food was delicious, the staff were so kind, mindful, amazing hospitality and overall had a wonderful experience. Fantastic food and delectable desserts, thank you to the team for ensuring that we had such a good experience.
5 /5 Duy: Went to Matiz on The Hill for my birthday and loved it! The food was amazing, the place is beautiful and well decorated. Service was good, but it was a bit loud—still a great spot overall.
Jet Ive had East Mediterranean food before in many places (including Abu Dhabi) but this was next level! The dishes are so delicious and fresh! Service is great, very friendly and fast so no need to worry about the allocated time slot. Try the cocktails: refreshing!
Jack Murphy Im not normally one for leaving revues but i believe in credit when its due. I just collected a rather large order for take away. I actually made a mistake with my order and the owner went out for his way to rectify that free of charge the food was exceptional everyone was so happy with what they had ordered. The takeaway orders are a reasonably decent amount for the price. So all in all a very satisfying experience. Would recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks guys
Metehra Stopped here for a quick lunch and was not disappointed.
I was welcomed nicely at the door and seated promptly. Food is well presented and delicious. I highly recommend.
The restaurant is cozy, charming and beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms. They also had really nice tunes playing in the background.
Selma Majeed Really good tasty food. This is our go to place in Portsmouth, affordable and good quantity. The lentil soup when you dine in is to die for,. Pro tip: add some sumac (the red coloured powder on the table) on top of the soup and it just elevates the taste.
