The staff are gracious and attentive without hovering, moving through a full house with effortless charm — clearly, this is a place locals and visitors both know and love. The food? Spot on. The tandoori prawns arrived charred just right — smoky, juicy, and bursting with flavour — while the Aloo Gobi was the kind of simple perfection that reminds you why this dish is such a classic. Every bite felt like it came from a kitchen that still cooks with heart, not haste. A busy, buzzing restaurant that earns its reputation the honest way — through great food, genuine smiles, and a hint of spice that lingers just long enough to make you want to come back.

5 /5 CHELS C: A longstanding and authentic Indian restaurant in the neighbourhood with outstanding hospitality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the extensive food and drink menu caters to diners of all kinds. Indian cuisine isn’t the one I’m most familiar with, and I’m not very spice-tolerant, yet I found the flavours here superb - especially the Bombay fish curry, which is a must-try! I only wish we’d been hungry enough for more, as so many of the dishes sounded appealing.

5 /5 Jaz: Very tasty food with an amazing menu! To start we tried the pepper prawns which were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The chicken korma was tender, creamy and delicious. The lamb roganjosh was very flavorful and made for a perfect dip for our garlic naan. Mango lassi was smooth and sweet! Service was great and our waiters were attentive. Definitely would go here again.

4 /5 Ravi Vemuri: Visited late afternoon (around 3PM) so was relatively empty but luckily for us still serving lunch. We were all very hungry and skipped starters and ordered main course straight away. The chilly paneer was very spicy but the chilly in the name should have warned us about it. Otherwise the food was good and cheerful waiter was very friendly. Nothing extraordinary about this restaurant but nothing to complain about either. More expensive than Indian restaurants elsewhere, but, to be expected given the location.
