Ordered Paneer Kothu Parotta(spice level made as per request), sambar was exactly like homemade, Mango lassi was fresh(never had this kind anywhere). It’s freshly prepared based on order. Shiny Candi I absolutely adore Pam’s Exotic Jerk Hut in Dockside. It’s my go-to on the weeks I don’t have my children and don’t want to cook, and it never disappoints. The food is proper Caribbean comfort food — full of flavour, cooked with care, and there’s always a great range of choices available. I’ve never turned up and felt like I was scraping the barrel; there’s always plenty to choose from. I’ll be honest — I dont really buy Caribbean food in Kent, I always used to pick it up on my way back from South London, so finding this place locally has been amazing. It genuinely feels like a little taste of home without the long journey. The service is impeccable every single time — friendly, warm, and welcoming. The hut itself is tiny but always spotless, well organised, and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of pride goes into running this place. My only (very minor!) gripe is that there’s never quite enough coco bread for the patties — but honestly, that just tells you how popular they are. Absolutely love this place and will keep coming back. A real gem.

Michael Wyatt Booked a Xmas meal for eight people, the whole evening was organised really well by the restaurant, right from the online pre-ordering of the food, to the printed name tags laid out on the table when we arrived which included a brief summary of everyones order. The service was perfectly timed and the staff were all very friendly, the food was great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return

Sue Lumb Great place! Very helpful staff, and the downstairs bar was open Saturday. Wow! What a lovely room! This is only open for private hire or events like on Saturday, live music. There are toilet facilities too, so you dont have to go upstairs. We sat indoors when the rain started and still enjoyed the music.

Riley King This Nando’s is good. The atmosphere is great. Food came pretty rapid if I’m being honest. Not long wait at all. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was tasty. Prices are slight expensive if I’m being totally honest. But the food is good so it does justify. Overall great rating 8.9/10.
