5 /5 Jakki Carey: Great food, great service and a warm welcome. We had the vegetarian platter and it was delicious. The injera was lovely - light and fluffy. I have taken a couple of stars off for atmosphere - the lighting seemed very bright so a cafe atmosphere rather than a restaurant (to be fair, it does call itself a cafe, but the food was definitely restaurant quality) and the loo, while clean, had no paper or hand towels. This may have been because we arrived quite late and caught them on the hop.

1 /5 Eletta: This place is an embarrassment for anyone who is Ethiopian or Eritrean. Terrible customer service. The ambiance is way less than desirable. It is true that they seem to not want any business. The only reason to go here is if it’s the closest Ethiopian food and for a quick fix. The food quality is edible at best.

5 /5 Derski: I have tried ethiopian food in various places but Sheger Cafe exceeded my expectations. It was tasty and portion was good, service was friendly and it did not take too long. Ethiopian beer was well priced and overall I had a very positive experience. I will be back for sure.
