5 /5 Martina Cirillo: One of the best dining experiences we have had so far. We came here for the Omakase this past Friday evening and everything has been outstanding from start to finish, from the warm hospitality, through the setting (only 7 seats) and to the food. The owners are so incredibly welcoming and amazing at creating a comfortable atmosphere, it felt like being hosted at a dinner party. Each course of the dinner was excellent, so flavorful and expertly prepared in front of us. We highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back.

5 /5 Loom Loop: We celebrated a birthday at Sushi Tetsu, and it was a masterpiece of Japanese hospitality and craft. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable; a respectful apprentice took our coats, and the Chef’s wife greeted us warmly. The atmosphere is incredibly intimate with only 7 seats. We sat next to a lovely regular couple, and by the middle of the meal, we were all chatting and sharing our love for the food. It felt like a private dinner party. The food is on a different level entirely. The Chawanmushi was the best I’ve ever had—so fresh with hidden shrimp and scallops. Another highlight was the Yellowtail comparison: tasting fresh vs. 1-week aged fish was a revelation. The aged Yellowtail was the best Ive ever tasted. Even my partner, who usually dislikes tuna, was blown away by the fatty Otoro; it had a crunchy quality that redefined the fish for her. The Chef also guided us through traditional etiquette, from how to eat edamame to the three-finger technique for warm Nigiri. Including a 350ml sake, the bill was just under £500 (inc. VAT and service). It was our first time spending this much on a meal for two, but it was worth every penny for the skill, the taste, and the memories. A true 10/10.

5 /5 Tiger Cross: A phenomenal sushi restaurant with an incredibly intimate atmosphere and a great chef and waitstaff - he made some of the best sushi Ive ever tasted. The closeness and immersiveness of the preparation made it feel as though it was in a Japanese home kitchen rather than a restaurant.

5 /5 Charlie Melvoin: Incredible 7-seat gem of a place run by husband and wife who could not be more friendly and fun, providing not only amazing sushi (among the best I’ve ever had) but also teaching us all so much about the food and Japanese culture more broadly. Everyone else in the restaurant was a repeat customer, and I could see why!
