5 /5 Charlotte Godolphin: Great pub for a Sunday roast. We are around 1pm on a Sunday, was quiet when we went in but very busy by the time we left so would recommend booking. Food came out in good time, roast was delicious, we had the roast beef and roast pork belly with a side of cauliflower cheese. Cant fault it at all! Would highly recommend!

5 /5 X: Traditional battered fish is decent. Not the best but honestly one of the top I’ve had. The batter is crispy and not too greasy, and the haddock is not dried out and seemed fresh. The fish is super big, although this also means at some point it eventually becomes soggy. Pork chop is surprisingly good. Tender and flavorful with rosemary. Also super grateful that I was able to have a beautiful salad instead of the chips in fish and chips. Service is efficient despite the full evening. And dog friendly!!

5 /5 Lubomira Kamenova: 5 stars, definitely coming again! This atmosphere is amazing and the food is top tier! My favourite were the fish and chips, with a generous amount of sauce tartar and peas and perfectly cooked fish. The chips are to die for! It’s dog friendly which was perfect for us, and young adults or children are allowed in the pub till 9 PM, unlike other pubs which are till 8 PM or even 7 PM. The service was good, and the bartenders were very kind. The waiters were quick to give us our food, and take the empty plates and The pub itself and the toilets are very clean.

5 /5 Lottie Freeman: Cannot recommend this place enough! The team were fantastic, particularly Stone and Shona. I called up on a Friday night hoping to make a booking for 30 people on the following Monday evening; they took the booking and were very accommodating of such a last minute large group. While there, the team were so lovely and made our teams night out so wonderful! Definitely a great place to consider for any and all occasions! Thank you :)

5 /5 Will Lingard: A really excellent pub experience! My wife and I took our 7-year-old and 4-year-old into the Brit for lunch before going to the pantomime. Even though we hadnt booked, the chap who welcomed us was very accommodating, and offered us a reserved table that wasnt going to be used for the next hour or so. The menu was good, and included plenty of sensible kids options at a very reasonable price. All of the staff were friendly, efficient, helpful, and welcoming. Food arrived promptly and it was all very well prepared and tasty. We really enjoyed ourselves, and it was the perfect spot for our weekend family lunch!
