5 /5 J11: We were recommended this venue for breakfast by an outstanding waitress (Izzy) from another restaurant. She assured us it was top notch and it turned out she wasnt playing, at all. We visited on the last morning of our family getaway and suffice to say, the food was absolutely outstanding. It blew us away. For food packed with so much quality and flavour the portions were extremely generous, I had a breakfast burrito and didnt have to eat for the rest of the day..... How!? The staff were really friendly, the location is a great starting point for visiting the old town and if wed known about this place at the beginning of our trip we agreed that we would have chosen to have breakfast there every day, without question. 10 out of 10. Absolute diamond of a diner.

5 /5 Lauren Whiting: Simply the best and most delicious food, served by owner and chef Ben, and his happy, helpful staff team. I have been twice now and cannot wait to go again. The Lumberjack breakfast each time was absolutely faultless. This wonderful, super-friendly team work so hard and serve quality food made with love- it really shows. If you havent yet been- you must! 5 /5 Sarah: Another return trip to Pelican Diner, we werent disappointed! The food is so fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. We usually go for the lumberjack, always a treat, fluffy pancakes with whatever you want to go with. This time, we tried the chicken and cheesy eggs. Milkshakes are a real treat too. Staff are friendly and welcoming. It truly is a gem of a place!

5 /5 Joe Howells: Ive lived in Hastings for over 2 decades but for some reason Ive never visited here. I think i thought maybe the prices were a little high or something. But today I wanted to take my daughter out for a treat. This is one of my new all time favourite places to eat, its so nice inside, the staff are super friendly and the food! Its not expensive at all considering how delicious it is. Food this good is not easy to find, we both had an amazing brunch and I will be back to test the fried chicken and burgers very soon!
