Anh Chu We dined with our young children for our wedding anniversary and it was wonderful! Everything was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Probably the best rump steak, I have had in a long time! The kids loved it and staff were brilliant. Friendly and super attentive. Thank you to the team for making our visit such a joy. Your Next Food Trip The overall experience at restaurant 1890 was excellent, and I can now see why the restaurant was awarded 1 Michelin star. It’s almost hidden in a small section of the Savoy that’s luxurious in its own right. I had the lunch set at £90, which already includes 3 of the 5 dishes featured on the full tasting menu. Everything was excellent. It’s a great place to take a date.

Caroline Manlove Wow. We had such a fantastic experience here. The vibes, service, food, everything was over the top. It was so nice being able to order anything as it was all gluten and dairy free. It was nice to feel normal and just order anything on the menu! We are so appreciative of our experience here and cannot recommend it enough!!

Alessandro Marrarosa One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. The food was excellent, well prepared, and served in a very pleasant atmosphere. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the outstanding service. Ripon and Ansar were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and friendliness. Their care and attention to detail made the morning even more enjoyable. Highly recommended — I will definitely be back.

Even though she mentioned she’s only been working here for about a month, her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm personality made it feel like she’d been part of the team for years. It’s rare to see someone so new already delivering 10/10 service you can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and represents your restaurant beautifully. You should be proud to have her on your team! She took amazing care of my friend and I. She had even remembered i mentioned saying it was my friends birthday and to our surprise she brought in a brownie and ice cream to celebrate. She had even remembered how picky we were about our food so knew you can’t go wrong with a brownie! I ask that the restaurant please forward on this message to Salima as she deserves this praise. She made our whole experience feel special. Service like that really stands out, you’ve got a real gem on your team!

Eva Belcastro My best friend and I came here for our first dinner in London on vacation, we both agree it was the best meal we’ve ever had! The food was beyond words to describe, flavorful and perfectly done—the combination of textures was executed perfectly. Our waitress Sonya was very kind and helpful, all the staff were friendly and efficient. The ambience and decor are absolutely lovely and very comfortable. We look forward to going back next time we come to London, I can only recommend this establishment :)
