Syd Eats Consistently outstanding battered fish. Perfectly cooked, fresh produce and light crunchy batter - every single time. Its a lovely family run restaurant you can always rely on. Choose from large, medium or small cod all priced accordingly. FYI the batter is NOT dairy-free. The chips are very English - more like chunky deep fried potato bits than the sort you get in a restaurant (do not expect the more fries style thick, tripple cooked, processed and way crispy sort). The prices are very reasonable. Sorry I didnt take a pic of the food but it was so good I forgot about photos and just ate it!

Sona Sethi Best Thai ever and catered for mum who doesn’t have peanuts and me and who’s gluten intolerant and I would always go back to have their tasty food, they can modify anything and they are super helpful when it comes to wanting more or less chilli - amazing service and just a genuinely lovely place! Star Nold So a standard kebab type shop.. a little snack after a drink.. Chips with garlic mayonnaise.. what was not to like.

Paul Forster We had such a great meal here. They’ve been a local Whitstable family run restaurant for over 35 years and it shows. It was quite busy quite early, but the one server handled everything with calm and personality. It never felt rushed or harried. The food was delicious and the atmosphere charming. The one drawback was the phone ringing endlessly as our poor server was there all alone. Would have prefered she shut the ringer off though!
