Greeted with a slight reservation in that asked to show proof of booking even though they knew we were coming but after that warm and attentive service.

I cant fault anything. Food was well cooked, service was fantastic. I thought price was great for 4 of us and my stepdad took full advantage of eat as much as like so even though my 14 year old was adult price my step dad made up for what she couldnt eat. Ill definitely will be back I like the relaxed atmosphere and the fact you wasnt rushed and how everthing was cooked fresh.
5 /5 Lisa Edelman: Really good! We had a lovely meal here. We were a party of five, all vegetarian. There was a big selection of vegetarian food, lots of tofu dishes, loads of vegetable dishes and rice and noodley things. They have nice soups too. The food comes out lightening fast and is super fresh and hot. You can order as much and as often as you like. Just make sure you eat it all. Recommended.
1 /5 Hayley: Food has gone down hill in my opinion. The tofu with satay was awful. So hard, i couldnt eat it, very bland with a tiny bit of satay. I had to ask for some satay sauce. Couldnt eat more than three pieces. Worst Ive ever had. Spare ribs were mostly fat. £13 odd for a Pina colada. I didnt eat much. We asked (I used to cringe at this, but now I really dont care) if I could take the duck home, I wanted to give it to Mr dog. They refused. But what really left a sour taste in my mouth is the waiter telling me the manager was in the office and hed ask him, when he had to come to the table and then said hed ask him again after he came back for us to pay the bill. I knew he had refused and wanted the bill paying before they told me I couldnt. Which was a bigger insult than the food. Lunchtime on a Saturday and the place wasnt busy. Tells you all you need to know. Id rather just allow my customer take a handful of duck home than refuse after theyd paid £80 for 2 people. We were told that wed have to pay for it if we wanted to take it. Wont be returning. Much better places nearby.
Jac K I just don’t understand how they make the red Thai curry so good. I had curries in Thailand everywhere and couldn’t find a single one even half as good as it is here.
Dean Field We booked in for a Sunday Roast while staying In Brighton for the weekend.
The Better Half Pub was Highly recommended by locals we met.
A Delicious Sunday Roast with various meats on the menu, we had Roast Sirlion. Of Beef and Roast Lamb, both cooked perfect soft and tasty, accompanied by roast potatoes seasoned veg, and a large Yorkshire Pudding. Great value for money and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Sarasjuntorn Angkinun My husband and I can confidently say that etch. is the best fine dining restaurant we’ve experienced in Brighton so far. We booked the tasting menu with wine pairing, and every course was exceptional. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and full of flavour, while the service was warm, attentive, and truly professional. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish - highly recommend!
