Joel Miller Stopped by The Phoenix recently and it’s genuinely one of the better bars I’ve been to around this area — easily deserves 5 stars.
The place has a really easygoing feel to it. It’s lively enough to have a good atmosphere, but still chilled so you can actually relax and enjoy yourself. It just feels like a proper local spot where you’re comfortable straight away.
Big shoutout to Sam as well — Sam was the best server there. He was absolutely amazing the whole time we were there. Really friendly, quick to help, and just made everything run smoothly without any fuss. Service like that honestly makes such a difference to your night.
Another big plus is the prices. For London, they’re very good, and you actually feel like you’re getting your money’s worth.
All in all, great vibes, great value, and standout service from Sam. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
