FUMI Restaurant - (Near East Sussex, South East)

Dele Odeniyi I recently had the pleasure of ordering a takeaway from this restaurant, and it was an absolute delight! The flavors were exquisite, and each dish was crafted with precision. The packaging was secure, keeping everything fresh and hot. From the appetizers to the main course, every bite was a burst of culinary perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious and satisfying takeaway experience!

Samantha Adams We enjoyed a very nice meal whilst we were visiting the vocal area for a couple of nights. We were greeted with a very warm welcome explained the menus and deals that were on offer. Food and drinks were a good high-quality and absolutely delicious i’m glad we’re not local because I don’t think I’d ever cook myself a meal again If this place was on my doorstep.

My partner mentioned we were here for my 30th so she brought us out more food on the house! Fish was so fresh, crispy and piping hot! oliwia ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Open Bakery is, without exaggeration, the best bakery I have ever been to in the UK and I genuinely don’t think anything will ever come close. I lived in Brighton for a year and I was literally living right in front of it, in a flat across the street. It became part of my week and I still think about it all the time. The pastries are so unreal that I don’t even have a single photo… because the second I walked in, I couldn’t even consider taking my phone out. Everything was eaten immediately. That’s how good it was. The atmosphere inside is perfect, warm, cosy, inviting, and just the kind of place that instantly makes you happy. And the staff are genuinely some of the friendliest people ever. It’s not just a bakery, it feels like a little Brighton treasure. They have incredible bread and so many other bakes, but I have to mention my favourite pastry of all time: the chocolate and almond croissant. I am not joking when I say I still dream about it. Flaky, rich, indulgent, perfect in every possible way. I would travel back to Brighton purely to eat it again. I live in the North now, and I swear there is simply nothing up here that compares. And honestly… if Open Bakery would ever ship so far, I will be the first person placing an order 100%! Brighton people don’t realise how lucky they are.

Ilke Kartal We popped into Tun Tun’s on Monday for their free student curry and I’m officially hooked. The staff were so friendly – the moment we walked in they greeted us with big smiles and asked whether we’d like veg, vegan, or meat. I went for the chicken curry, and it was still piping hot by the time we got home. Considering it was completely free, it was absolutely delicious – generous portions, loads of chicken and lentils, and packed with flavour. Exactly what I needed on a gloomy Monday evening. I’ll definitely be going back to try more, especially since they also do a £5 student deal. Edit: We did end up going back to try the £50 mega thali, and it was incredible. We also ordered two mango lassi – smooth, sweet, refreshing, and perfect alongside the spicy dishes. The fish curry was light and fragrant, and the pastries were unreal, especially the sweet coconut pathi. The chana daal was comforting, and both the aubergine pakora and onion bhaji were delicious. The chutneys that came with everything were amazing too – a perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy. I’ll definitely be returning, and next time I’m bringing friends!

Iuliana I had a wonderful experience at Social Board Brighton. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and the fast, friendly service made everything even better. We were lucky to be served by the owner himself, which added a special touch to our visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—you truly feel at home! Congratulations to the chefs for the excellent food and the aromatic, flavorful coffee. Highly recommended!
