5 /5 Richard Webb-Stevens: Brilliant Pie & Mash Shop, and it’s local. We usually ride our scooters to central but fancied a change & I I asked my China, Google, who recommended this place 18 minutes ride from Wealdstone. Brilliant service and food portions. Great set up in the cafe with an authentic feel and featuring photo’s of local sports legends etc. Well worth a visit & I’m looking forward to returning soon.

5 /5 Jenny Snaps: Me and my mum visited Ruislip for the day and were greeted by a very friendly server! :) We had 2 pies and single mash with liquor. The pies were filled with tasty gravy inside. The pies were lovely and tender too! Single mash was just the right amount! :) I would definitely recommend visiting this pie and mash shop! :) The whole shop and toilet was very clean and very modern! I loved the pictures that hung on the walls of famous actors! I even took a few pictures which the manager (I assume) didnt seem to mind! :) Thank you very much for your wonderful service! Will definitely visit again in the future if we ever come to Ruislip again!! :)

4 /5 Ronak Radia: Hughes Pie and Mash. It does what it says on the tin. Pie and Mash and much to our relief they did a Vegan pie and Mash in addition to their beef pie. The Pie, Mash and Liquor was nice. It was my first time having it and I wanted to try it without any reservations because this is one of Londons original street food and has stood the test of time. I liked it and later on when we were on our way out, I realised from another customer that I could change the liquor to Gravy and me thinks it would be much nicer and this is my personal preference. Located on the high street so very easily accessible via public transport, the decor inside the shop is interesting. I really like the woodwork, little coat hangers at the edge of every booth. This shows the thoughtful nature as you take into account the weather and customer pain points and provide the necessities in a way that is convenient and aesthetically pleasing. The menu is very specific and I like that. There were slices of home made cake that I did not avail myself to on this occasion. But they look very hearty and homemade. This experience has spurred me on to check out other Pie & Mash places in London when I get an opportunity.

1 /5 Martyn Riseborough: I dont like to give local businesses a bad review, but what I just bought wasnt acceptable. I usually go to Lawrences down the road, but as it was closed and I was driving past, I thought Id give Hughies a try. The pies were tiny with no filling, and the mash was dry with no flavor. I think the school cake must have been there a week. If that was the first pie and mash I had, Id never have it again.
