5 /5 Selma Majeed: Really good tasty food. This is our go to place in Portsmouth, affordable and good quantity. The lentil soup when you dine in is to die for,. Pro tip: add some sumac (the red coloured powder on the table) on top of the soup and it just elevates the taste.

5 /5 Iftekhar: We had Iftar here yesterday and had an amazing experience. They kindly served complimentary lentil soup and dates, which was such a thoughtful touch. We ordered the Red Lamb Kuzi with rice, Mix Grill with salad, houmous, and baba ghanoush, . Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The lamb was incredibly tender, the kebabs were fresh and juicy, and the sides were full of flavour and perfectly prepared. Overall, a fantastic experience — we’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Lloyd Emery: Food and service here was excellent. First time eating in but have been a long time lurker (ordering takeaway). I knew it would be better eating in and it was. Everything just that bit more fresh than delivery obviously. The guys serving were all very friendly. We ended up ordering far too much food and left a lot which made us feel idiotic, next time Ill definitely calm down. Meat wise; chicken wings were fantastic, the lamb kofta was crispy and so falvourful on the outside yet just over pink inside giving a great texture. The chicken shawarma plate lived up to expectations being a huge portion inclusive of salad, rice and chips. The breads are also super tasty eating in, they are warm, fluffy and a bit crispy in places. Definitely going to visit in the restaurant again, one of my favourite meals in a while. Unfortunately I didnt get many photos as we were frantically scoffing by the time all of the dishes arrived.

5 /5 A R: I tried the Turkish Platter at Kurdistan Restaurant and it was a solid experience. The platter had wings, Adana kebab, lamb, chicken, chicken kebab, both white and yellow rice, naan bread, and a side of okra curry. Everything was flavorful the lamb and Adana kebab really stood out. The wings were crispy, and the chicken soup starter was comforting. The okra curry added a nice, tangy touch to the meal. Portions were generous, and overall it was a satisfying Turkish-style feast.
