Lemongrass - (Near , South East)

5 /5 Skoods R: Wonderful Thai restaurant that I visited for the 1st time tonight. Welcoming staff who were very attentive throughout but not obtrusive or annoying . The restaurant itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with perfect subdued lighting. Perfect spacing between tables and comfortable chairs. The menu was varied and clearly laid out offering great range of dishes for vegetarian and meat eaters! Great options for set menus available but we chose à la carte, all dishes tasty and authentic. The wine list had perfect array of choice to suit palate and purse. Can’t wait to return to explore & taste more dishes. Tonight we tried the sweet & sour and signature “ sticky I am” chicken variety main dishes accompanied with Phad Thai noodles. All extremely delicious (& to start tried chicken satay & salt n pepper squid). Both superb in flavour and quantity.

The Panang Curry and Rice were as authentic as Ive had during numerous visits to Thailand itself, even down to the way they cut the chicken to its bent shape in the curry. It was full of flavour and really took me back to Koh Samet. They even gave me complimentary prawn crackers with sweet chilli Thai sauce. Excellent. This was a pick up not dine in, and the restaurant was almost full on a Thursday evening (very good sign) yet the waitress (wearing authentic Thai dress) was with me in under a minute and the food was on time. Highly recommended.

5 /5 fred k: Absolutely fantastic! We went for the first time for my wife’s birthday after hearing so many good things about Lemongrass. We have tried a lot of Thai places to eat and this one is right up the top. The staff were so friendly, the food was full of flavour and really fresh, and the restaurant is beautifully designed. Highly recommend the pad kee mow, crispy squid, and banner fritter with ice cream!

1 /5 Matt Gray: Posting on behalf of my mum as you rudely replied to her honest review. Ignoring her feedback you instantly banned her which is ridiculous as she wouldnt come again anyway. "Shocked at how rude and arrogant the man behind the bar was. It was very busy but I have never ever heard anyone talk to a guest the way he did. He needs sacking. Not only was he rude to our party, a waitress dropped a glass bottle and he shouted at her in front of everyone queuing, obviously cant handle it being busy. Disgusting behaviour. Such a shame as the girls waiting on us were amazing and the food was incredible. I suggest reviewing his behaviour before you lose business. People overhearing him were shocked at his behaviour. Will never go back, totally ruined a special evening. "
