Frances Penelope Recto The service and atmosphere were top notch - the ambience was good, our food was served fast and the servers were so attentive and proactive and most importantly, we kept getting surprise free snacks throughout our courses, like the pani puri and the chocolate at the end. The chef made it feel like a tasting menu. Money well spent!

Vijay B Sambasivam Veeraswamy is an unforgettable dining experience in London. Located on Regent Street, the restaurant has incredible history, beautiful ambiance, and a very upscale feel, all while staying warm and welcoming. I booked this place with a friend for my birthday dinner, and to my surprise they made it extra special by bringing out a birthday card along with a small cake. Such a thoughtful touch. The food was outstanding. Loved the tikka and beetroot tikka appetizers, and honestly every dish we tried was excellent. The drink selection was great as well and paired perfectly with the meal. Yes, it’s expensive, but absolutely worth it for the food, the experience, and the heritage that comes with it. Nearly 100 years of history is no small thing for a restaurant, and you really feel that legacy when you dine here. A must-visit for anyone looking for refined Indian cuisine with history and character.

phil slade We had a very good meal here yesterday evening. A good choice of food and tasty. The tarka daal was very good. Very welcoming polite staff. Very generous with the compliment tray that goes with the papadams. Good value. Do try and go. I know they are finding it difficult to attract back customers after the pandemic. Support your local Indian restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

Craig Vincent An uninterested guy met us at the counter, warning us of a wait, but didnt mention until we tried to order that at 1pm on a Saturday, they were out of fries. Despite various versions of fries making up a quarter of the menu choices. After waiting for 25 minutes, someone came over to ask again what our order was, and we recited it again, specifically mentioning again the original request that could one of the chicken burgers please be without coleslaw. Within 5 minutes after this, the food arrived, the tiniest, overcooked piece of chicken in the chicken burger, and still with coleslaw. It was not worth the ÂŁ18 for the food (2 x chicken burger, 1 x beef burger), nor for the customer service.
