The restaurant is ideally located just a short walk from the train station, making it very convenient for locals and visitors alike. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit, helping guide us through the ordering process and ensuring we had everything we needed. One of the highlights is the ability to fully customise your hotpot—from broth flavours to a wide range of fresh ingredients—making the meal both personal and fun. The flavours were excellent, portions generous, and the pricing very competitive, especially considering the quality and variety offered. A great dining experience overall—delicious food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for hotpot lovers or anyone looking to try something new!

5 /5 R. R: Quite a good place and fair prices. Mr Wang provides a delectable experience characterised by the range of options available and support where needed. The pick yourself wall allows you to build your own hotpot which creates a more self driven experience, however if you dont fancy that then there is a tablet where you can order from a set of pre-prepared foods. Prices of the build your own and pre-prepared foods are quite fair. After all that there is a small table where you can add a range of extra ingredients in separate bowls, in my opinion its a brilliant idea as everyone like there food differently. Overall its a time that I will not forget and will return again.

3 /5 Hal Rumney-Hunt: Not terrible, not great either. Came to Mr Wang as everyone raved about the bone broth and fair price, but I found the broth to be quite bland and for a reasonable amount of food it was quite expensive. Having been to other hot pot places in the UK and China, the flavour here really felt subpar to what I am used to. The staff were nice and friendly, and the toppings were of good quality, again just a shame there was very little flavour to the soup base. Also, I think the meat I had was overcooked, as it was very tough and chewy.

The food itself is fresh and flavorful, with plenty of options to customize your hotpot just the way you like it. The service is quick, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. It’s clear they care about making every customer feel valued.

5 /5 Ninoshka Carvalho: Amazing customer service, the waiter that served us especially was excellent, we were first timers at a hotpot place and the waiter explained everything to us in good detail and manners and with a lovely mood as well which most of the time doesn’t happen when customers go past the closing time which we did by half an hour and also they give you a free dessert which I haven’t seen any other restaurant do. The platter was customisable which was very convenient and it was all delicious 10/10. Would definitely recommend this place. The pricing was good for everything we ordered. Thank you so much for this lovely first time experience.
