5 /5 Riki Orellana: Absolutely fantastic stay. It is an older resort type hotel but totally worth it. Floors and stairs creek giving the feeling of its age but wonderfully lovely. There is a restaurant The Sea Pearl, dont miss it. .most food in the UK is not shall i say classic, but this restaurant..dont, do not miss it, the food is fabulous and the wait staff...as fabulous as the cuisine. The personnel is always there to help, either in the restaurant or front desk. Only issue with our king bed suite facing the water, the tub is a little high for me to get in and out of being short. If you are going to Worthing then this is the place to stay and get a room facing the beach channel. This is not for you if you like Hilton or Fairmonts, but even if you dont stay be sure to go to the restaurant.

5 /5 Eleanor: We recently stayed at the Burlington Hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and exceptionally clean. The property is clearly very well maintained, and we enjoyed a great night’s sleep thanks to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which really made the stay even more enjoyable. The only downside, which is perhaps to be expected with an older building, is that sound does tend to travel. Unfortunately, we were woken early by a family with young children running around in the room above from around 6am, which was a little frustrating. Aside from that, it was a lovely stay and would certainly consider returning.

5 /5 Dave Green: Had a one night stay and I can’t speak highly enough of the service from all the staff. We had a lot of luggage (10 bags) and the team helped us with them to the third floor and helped us store them the following day. Breakfast was amazing, view of the sea with a perfectly cooked full English. Super comfortable bed, quiet area. Highly recommended

5 /5 Melanie Patrick: Sharing Roast at The Burlington We had the most delicious sharing roast at The Burlington today. We chose the beef (chicken is the other option) — a whole joint with huge slices, roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, broccoli, Yorkshire pudding, gravy, cauliflower cheese and braised red cabbage. It’s designed for 3–4 people and at £75 it’s excellent value — there was so much we brought a bag home. The sharing roast needs to be pre-ordered by the Thursday before, and they also offer single roast dinners if you prefer your own plate. We followed it with sticky toffee pudding and lemon posset, both excellent. My husband said it’s probably one of the nicest place in Worthing he’s ever been to, and I’d agree. Professional, attentive staff, with one waitress in particular exceptional at making sure everyone was topped up and well looked after. Another fantastic lunch in Worthing The Burlington Hotel

4 /5 Elena Chukhman: I stayed at The Burlington in February and overall had a really lovely experience. The location is absolutely amazing – right on the seafront, and the views from the rooms are just beautiful. Waking up and seeing the sea first thing in the morning was such a highlight. The restaurant was also a big plus for me. The food is refined and very tasty, and the glass front overlooking the sea makes breakfasts, lunches and dinners feel special. The restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean. The beds are soft and comfortable, fresh linens and fluffy towels – all really nice touches. There were a few things I didn’t love though. The building is historic and charming, but the windows are quite old and there is a noticeable draft. In February it was pretty cold, especially in the bathroom where there was no heating at all, which made it uncomfortable. Because of the windows, you can also hear the road outside. It didn’t disturb me too much as I sleep with earplugs anyway, but light sleepers might struggle. I was also surprised that the reception didn’t have basic things like umbrellas for guests or adapters for European plugs – for me that feels quite essential for a hotel. The location and the sea view really make this place special, but the heating in the bathrooms and the issue with the noisy windows definitely should be properly addressed
