5 /5 Margaret H: On the edge of Hove, great to be able to walk out here onto the Downs. Lots of wild flowers and paths of different lengths to walk around. Great view of the City from the top.

4 /5 Lisa Edelman: This is a beautiful area that a lot of people help to maintain. You can see lots of birds and orchids and butterflies and if youre very lucky, a snake or lizard. Its very peaceful and quiet, you can sit here and just be. Were lucky to have this lovely place.

5 /5 Phil Booker: Despite living in Brighton for over 40 years and being a keen wildlife photographer, I somehow managed never to visit Benfield Nature Reserve. I corrected that yesterday,on a blustery day when frankly I wasnt expecting much activity. Boy was I wrong. This is a fantastic site. There were butterflies galore, more than Ive seen anywhere else so far this summer: Various Skippers, Whites, Ringlets, Meadow Browns, Marbled Whites, Red Admirals and more. I photographed Blackcaps, Goldfinch and Spotted Flycatchers and saw various others birds, bees, beetles and bugs. I shall be back within days. Ive still so much more to discover here.
