Church House Gardens - (Near Bromley, london)

2 /5 Robert Birkholz: Its a nicely located park, situated on a hill and conveniently next to the main area with all the shops. However, it is poorly maintained, with rubbish scattered everywhere and faeces around. The general atmosphere is not relaxing. On the positive side, it does have an okay playground.

3 /5 Nemo Adoenus: These gardens are pretty and well maintained but 2025 has been a rough year for most park and gardens due to the lack of rain, which has lead to the lake drying up completely so all the water fowl left, also some of the footpaths could do with some TLC as they are in rough condition.

4 /5 jeff benjamin: Set over a slope on merged former church property and a private residence “Neelgherries”* forming this park in 1927. Winding steps and smooth paths transverse the steep topography that might be challenging for the more sedentary, with rockeries, formal bedding, a variety of established trees and terraces of plants/shrubs and - at the time of my visit - sadly a drained pond. A sandpit/playground, gazebo, courts and skatepark among the amenities. A park with an appealing layout now handicapped by a the loss of a significant locus and seemingly a purely “adequate” level of maintenance. * gardentrust.org

5 /5 Anne Nash: This was a beautiful place with beautiful flowers. We had a good walk around this place. The park had slopy areas that would really help a lot for burning calories. There two children playing areas. There is a pond and we also saw Canadian geese. We enjoyed the place but it started raining.

5 /5 Kelly Yussuf: I just wanted to say how thrilled I was today to see that the river had been cleaned of rubbish & it had a massive renovation…how amazing it looks! It has been well thought out & arranged to allow the river to run freely at the same time accommodating the resident ducks. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the private company & volunteer’s who carried out this project.
