Tom Ward One of the best roast dinners in Brighton and Hove. Big portions and very well cooked - very decent pint of Murphy’s too.

The food:Star dishes: Chelo kebab and tahdig showcase tender meat and crispy rice; ghorme sabzi has bright, herb-forward flavors. Highlights: Butter-saffron rice aroma, perfectly crisp Tahdig. Value: Reasonable prices for generous portions; good value on a mid-range night. Verdict: Solid, classic Persian fare with standout rice and kebabs. Ruth Sanchez Another wonderful evening at the little fish market hove . This was our 3rd visit and we enjoyed it just as much as the previous two . The service as always impeccable, not intrusive at all , friendly, chilled and relaxed yet very attentive. Didn’t catch the name of the lady serving us but she was great . The food was phenomenal, each course carefully crafted individually , the flavours were on point and beautiful presented . We love the fact that the meal isn’t rushed and you have the table for the whole evening. Of course it’s not the cheapest meal but it’s worth every penny for the quality of ingredients and the amount of work that Duncan and his team put in every dish they serve . They have just won the best restaurant in Brighton award , very well deserved too!

Jasmine Kizilkaya We love Gails, the food and drinks never disappoint. Highly recommend the quiche, along with the cold chocolate. For someone who doesn’t drink caffeine, it’s nice there is a fun drink on the menu for me. We also really enjoy the baked bread and purchase-able butter.

Sophie Young Consistently amazing food. Billy is always so welcoming and kind. We had the gnocchi gorgonzola, pollo allá Milanese and the petto di pollo al formaggio. All 3 dishes were really tasty and we can’t wait to come again
