Alex Turff Enjoyed our meal here. Its off the high street, so is much quieter. Food was generally great. Getting bog standard frozen french fries for the chips side dish was a bit surprising, but I guess they really arent Italian. John Bloggs Amazing service. Food was lovely, definitely a little "fancier" than last time. Portion sizes were great and desserts were super delicious. Lovely touch to add a Polaroid photo and rose for valentines day. Had a live singer that was a nice addition to the atmosphere.

David Great food. Not many low carb options (everything comes with potatoes) but still a nice place to go and enjoy a decent meal

Clare W Received a warm and relaxed welcome on arrival. Visited mid week, restaurant wasnt overly busy, bar was busier. Service was attentive and quick. Food was fresh, well presented, well cooked and delicious. Crab bits, trout tartare, Atlantic cod and pheasant were out choice of dishes. Good location, large public car park a few minutes walk away. Free to park after 7pm. Would definitely return.

Victoria Wan Had the set menu which was: - Snacks - sausage roll and sourdough bread. The pastry was beautifully flakey and the bread was high hydration with a good crust. - Starter - cheesey tart with salted egg yolk. The tart was crisp and the filling was very flavourful. - Main - hake with beans. - Dessert - dark chocolate with blood orange sorbet and EVOO. This was absolutely delicious, the blood orange cut through the richness of the chocolate. Service was friendly and attentive - thank you. Atmosphere was cosy and informal. Would highly recommend especially for a more informal setting.
