Marianne Caldwell When a place does the simple stuff so well you know it’s good. All I had was the steak rare and on its own with wine. This was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I had madeleines which were very kindly delivered for the birthday at the table and these were frankly the most beautiful madeleines I have ever had. Add that we came here because it dog friendly and it’s safe to say my business has been secured for years to come.

Martin Bridge A very smart inn/restaurant with a great view of the river. We stopped here on our Thames Path walk on a rainy day, a little wet and muddy, along with our dog. Only had a quick drink in the lovely bar (traditional oak beam & rustic) and dried ourselves out a little over a pint. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel at home. Many thanks!!

Henry Huang One of the best Chinese takeaways in the area, fhe food is always fresh and full of flavour. My favourites are the sweet and sour chicken and chow mein, they never disappoint. Staff are lovely too and always polite and usually quick with orders.

James Johnson We had a lovely family meal at Ginger Lounge Indian Restaurant. The food was excellent, very tasty and the service was excellent. My meal was the Bombay Sizzling Tava which is shown in the picture. Surprisingly it was not hot and spicy which is what I was expecting but very flavoursome and really quite mild. We have had a few meals here and enjoyed every meal.
