Buna Ethiopian Restaurant - (Near Islington, london)

Michel Leclercq A small East African restaurant specializing in Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine. No need to fly; the journey is in the welcome, the decor, the food, and even the typical Ethiopian coffee. The cuisine is naturally very spicy, but dishes can be prepared milder upon request. The menu is varied, featuring only authentic recipes brought back from Addis Ababa by Chef Matiyas. And all at incredibly low prices. A must-try, a guaranteed good time for couples, families, or groups. Bonus: an adjoining room for banquets or events.

Lewis Visitor from Oxford. Food was very nice, so much for the price. Everything in the pictures was £20, and was incredibly filling I did not eat the milk cake until later. The mega box could easily feed two people. The mac and cheese is up there with the best Ive had, the donut smashburger was good, chips nicely seasoned. Wings good but a bit too sweet. I had to wait about 35 minutes which at the time annoyed me but after eating however it was worth the wait. A lot of reviews complaining about how its oily/greasy etc yes it is but what do these people expect when coming to a place that has croissants and donuts as buns. Its supposed to be that type of place. Woman behind the till very friendly and all the workers seem to get on with each other which is good to see in a kitchen. Definitely a every once in a while type meal. Will be coming again when Im back in Kentish town

Chloe Mount Wow! We went as a large group and they could not have been more accommodating! The service was friendly and quick and we felt like we had an authentic Turkish experience. The food was really tasty and the price was very reasonable. There were enough for leftovers and they were very happy to give us take away containers. I will definitely be back! Would highly recommend

James Flynn Great food, I always get a combo meal, good size portion. I would definitely recommend that people try. Bbq chicken is really really nice, curry goat is really really nice, falls off the bone, comes with potatoes and carrots and three pieces of plantain. Reasonable price. Tastes really good. Must try.

Amari With its chill vibe, clean tables, and attractive interior, this spot offers great value and service. The food never disappoints. In my opinion, Amigos is the best eatery in Holloway right now; I highly recommend it.
