What Clients Are Saying Chunky Buddha at RingSide (GG)
5 /5 YK KM: One of my fave spots! The food is hearty and really filling and prices are super reasonable. My faves on the menu are the fried chicken bao, steak sando and pork belly noodles. Oh and the mac and cheese. It’s always a good vibe too with music playing. Best place for Asian street food!
5 /5 H Nguyen: A great new lunch spot in Canary Wharf. Highly recommend the steak sandos. Good ratio of meat, veg and bread. You get a thick cut of ribeye that is freshly grilled, super tasty and juicy. The brioche buns both absorb the flavours of the steak and add some sweetness.
Friendly service.
Will come back to try other items.
5 /5 robin moran: Although the weather was quite thunderous in this small market restaurant , where we sat out side amongst it all, the weather was not enough to diminish the taste of one of the nicest steak sandwiches and beef mac and cheese I had in London and most definitely deptford the tunes on the speaker helped too. One is enough to feed an ordinary man but I am no ordinary man. I will return to see what else is in store on the menu and also to get another picture taken to be on their wall. Kudos to the staff they were great.
5 /5 Melissa A: Absolutely delicious. Great addition to Canary Wharf food options. We tried the rib eye steak sandwich, crispy duck noodles, chicken fried rice and rib eye fried rice. So much flavor, wonderful fresh ingredients/aromatics. Will def be back. Hidden gem.
5 /5 kelvinsy007: First time trying Chunky Buddha and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The staff was friendly and the place had a great vibe.
I ordered the pork belly and steak sado, it was one of the tastiest sado I have eaten.
The steak and pork belly was cooked to perfection and the frying of the bread gives the sandwich a satisfying crunch.
The savory and meaty flavors of the steak and pork belly complemented by the melted cheese, adding a creamy and slightly tangy element to the sandwich.
I will definitely come back again to try out the other menu.
A real hidden gem in Deptford.
Laura-Lynn Lovely, very relaxing place. We had pancakes and they were so fluffy and delicious! Staff was really nice. We‘ll come back for the Full English Breakfast tomorrow ♥️
Brian MacDonald Just went for the first but definitely not the last time. We had a wonderful brunch with delicious drinks. The food was well prepared and tasty. I had the California burrito and my wife had the breakfast burrito. Both were large and very tasty. We also got the casava fries which were great and came with a nice slightly spicy sauce. The service was attentive and very friendly. A great spot for people watching near Herne Hill station.
Raquel Maillo García We absolutely loved our lunch, it was genuinely like being in a trattoria in Italy. Flavours were so good and we could tell that the ingredients were super super fresh and Im sorry but the olive oil? WOW. Obsessed.
Very happy with our meal, we will definitely be back.
Tomris Yucemen ate the stuffed aubergine, it was absolutely delicious and like nothing i’d had before. came here with a bunch of friends and we all left full and happy. prices are reasonable too.
Alison Taffs Very cosy and friendly small independent bar and cafe. I’ve been here twice: recently enjoyed a delicious breakfast- excellent quality butchers sausages, coffee very good too. They have an interesting and well chosen range of drinks, including local beers. Popular with families and good for local take aways too. A nice place to stop

Alex MacKeith One of the best Pizza Expresses out there. The manager, Tich, is a model of hospitality, with an easygoing and witty manner. The waiting team are attentive and conscientious, while the chefs always deliver to the highest standard. Highly recommend this branch.
