4 /5 Hardeep Virdee: Been a few times. Today I went for a family meal. The food was lovely, but a bit too much salt in the curd. Otherwise, satisfying. I over-ate so didnt get to fully appreciate the mains, although it did look sound. The fresh ginger strips in the lamb were brilliant by the way. Good job.

5 /5 Davinder Bhamra: Loads of my mates have told me about this place. Super busy place. Does chip shop fish and chips (plus masala cod). Got a takeaway. Food is really good but was a little hot for me. Saag Lamb, Dhal makhni and Palak Allo -all lovely. Masala fish is a standout dish. Will try again but ask them to tone down the chillies. Really worth trying.

4 /5 Arvind Bhunjun: Went to Citi kitchen on a Sunday, was pretty quiet by their standards, have heard Friday and Saturday can get pretty busy, but it didnt take us long to get seats, we didnt have to wait. Citi had a versatile menu with a wide selection from across the Indian board and even some Thai options. The piece de resistance, if you want to call it that, is that they serve traditional fish and chips with an Indian twist, with masala batter for the cod! We went for butter chicken and chicken karahi chicken, the spices were balanced well with quality meat cuts served so cant fault it. However, the only criticism I have is that the portions for the main courses are very small, enough for one person, but as we bought for a table of 8 it certainly wasnt enough to go round. It was a good thing we filled up on starters, which were arguably just as good as the main. Wide choice - the usual stuff, tikka, paneer, Pani Puri, cant go wrong. The staff were really hard working, on the go , but still served us promptly and answered our requests almost instantly - some places you have to ask a hundred times, but thankfully not here, but granted it may not always be the case going off other reviews. The chai masala is also worth a try. The atmosphere is lively, not too rowdy. There is nice decor at the front of the house which is a nice touch. The most impressive thing is the value, with the items reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. We paid £28 a head between 8 of us which I thought was good value for the amount of things we ordered, there were also plenty veggie options for some members of our party. Will be back to try the fish and chips for sure!
