3 /5 J M: Food was very good. Odd portions. Starters were big and mains small. Service was pretty good. Price not so great given that we had a voucher that covered 2 people for a 3 course meal each and a couple of drinks. We had two friends with us. The bill ended up being 178 pounds outside of the already paid for couple. It was a bit of a shock. We all only had 3 drinks each. The two menus were so different in price. For the voucher, a decent price but overall not a great price because the normal menu in a cafe style brewery, not a table service comfortable restaurant, was overpriced including the on site brewed beer. The food was cooked very well though. Just a shame that it didnt match the venue and the price.
5 /5 Viki: Really impressed with our meal (for two) last night. We’ve eaten here before, a few years ago, and it was okay, but last night was delicious. We shared the crispy chicken starter, and both enjoyed the porchetta with red cabbage and mash. Well cooked, tasty meat (not too fatty), and good flavours.
5 /5 Julia I: We had a really lovely lunch and were so pleasantly surprised. The food was top notch! I had the crispy chicken Caesar salad and can honestly say it was a great salad - packed with flavour and massive. Lovely atmosphere. Will definitely return.
5 /5 Lazlo Because: Rare 5/5 from me here... What a surprise this place was. Had the Caesar Salad with additional fries and its honestly the best Ive ever had. Packed with flavour MOIST chicken, crispy croutons, Lardons, lettuce and a tasty sauce. Excellent service and some nice pints too. Would and will defintely return.
5 /5 Greg Daines: We visited here on a Tuesday evening for our anniversary. We had a warm greeting from Jess and had a fantastic table overlooking the brewery’s garden. The food was reasonably priced, three courses plus a glass of bubbly came to around £50 a head. Presentation is on point, food is full of flavour, served hot and full of delicate crispy sensations. Only down side is the design of the building and lack of soft furnishings means sound bounces about.
REG Interesting toilet situation at SALT Deptford. The toilets, once I imagine not unisex, now are.
This didnt impact on their functionality though. They seemed to work fine.
The pint I had here was quite nice also, they had a range of other drinks available and also pizza. Ive had a pizza here in the past and although it hasnt stuck in my mind as a glowing example (see D4100, Crisp W6) it wasnt particularly bad. Probably ok to good.
Nicely done out interior here too.
Shuchi Jindal We ordered food for a gathering at home. Food was delicious and portions were generous. The whole process from ordering to collecting food was very well managed. Gobhi 65 in starters and daal fry in mains was everyones favourite. But everything was really good.
Sarah Fan We had a fantastic experience at here! We ordered the kids’ Margherita pizza and the fish and chips, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The portion size for the kids’ plate was just right, and the fish and chips were perfectly cooked, with the chips being especially tasty.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. A thoughtful touch was the box of crayons provided for kids to color while waiting—such a great way to keep them entertained.
Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and we’ll definitely be coming back!
Abigail Yeo hidden gem alert! stumbled across siam kitchen by accident while otw to a different dinner spot - caught my attention when i walked by, then took a sharp u-turn spontaneously and so glad i did! from the decor to music to service, everything was perfect. i felt like i was instantaneously transported to thailand! complimentary prawn crackers were so fire!!! i ordered pineapple fried rice with prawns and mango sticky rice, of which both were perfectionnnnnn. prawns were fresh, fried rice was fragrant and the crunchy cashew and juicy pineapples really sealed it for me. mango sticky rice was served piping hot, the chewy rice paired with the juicy mango pieces and crunchy sesame seed MAMA MIA!!!!! and not forgetting how value for money everything was!!! ÂŁ18 for a main, drink and dessert AND 10/10 quality???? i would actually travel here all the way from london just for all of the above. highly recommended!!!
Nikita Sudhir A hidden gem in Canning Town.
Tried their chicken biryani (takeaway, I didn’t dine in), and it’s one of the best I’ve had in London. Flavours were fantastic, quality was lovely, and the staff is friendly.
It was my first visit here, but I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Thank you! :)
