Giggling Squid - Hove - East Sussex

Caroline Wiggs The food was absolutely superb and the staff friendly and polite. Unfortunately, tables were very close together and it was difficult to hold a conversation because of the volume of noise originating from nearby tables.

The Southern Belle - East Sussex

Elizabeth Jowett The Southern Belle was ideally located for my conference trip to Brighton. The rooms were lovely and the bar and food downstairs was excellent! Wendy looked after us so well in the bar, where local people enjoyed the relaxed and friendly ambience. Wednesday night was a special treat when quite a few musicians assembled to play their lovely folk music. It was excellent !

Beth Starling Such a great find for dinner on their first weekend. The atmosphere had a buzzy, friendly energy, the service was spot on, and the food was delicious. The Padron peppers and sea bass were especially amazing, definitely two of my favourites! I really can’t fault either the food or the service. Such a great addition to the area, and I’ll definitely be back!

Bula Basmach Absolutely loved Persia! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The kebabs were tender, and the saffron rice was perfection. The staff were warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back!

Bali Brasserie Restaurant, Bar & Live Music Venue - East Sussex

Rating: 4.5 /5
Marzena Wolska I visited the Bali Brasserie restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed the experience. The food was great. We had chicken satay and samosas as starters, and both were very tasty. For the main course, we tried a lovely Malaysian curry with rice. They also had a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks, which was great.

Nick Simmons We’ve visited this pub a few times over the last few weeks. It’s much, much better than I remember. Yesterday I was looked after by Edie, as a family have got to know her quite well and one of the main reasons that we visit. She is always polite and full of beans. All the staff are great but Edie goes above and beyond, what a legend.
