Logan Snape Aleigh’J was a lovely server and made sure that we got our moneys worth. We booked for the 2 hour bottomless brunch but only had an hour and 30 mins as it closed at 10pm. She gave us as many drinks as she could so that we could get our moneys worth since we got less hours and was so amazing.

B Lau After our run, we enjoyed a fantastic meal here. The warmth and energy from the food felt just right. The authentic Nepalese cuisine was delightful — we especially loved the curry, which was refreshing, full of flavor, and not oily at all. A truly satisfying experience.

Joanna Kucharczyk We enjoyed eating at the Reading Room last night. The whole experience was amazing. It wasn’t our first time there, so I’m happy the standard is consistently high. The food was delicious and looked beautiful. The staff were very professional and although they were always nearby, it didn’t feel awkward. The dinner finished with a really sweet, personal touch - couple of chocolates on a plate with a sign „happy anniversary”. I highly recommend the restaurant.

H L-J Ive been eating at Afghan Flavours, Reading for circa 18 months now. I was introduced by my sisters friend and have kept coming back on my own, with a my sister or in small groups. Its very reliable, tasty, fresh and hot food. Family friendly. Very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. You can see the kitchen from the counter too. Other reviews mentioning service speed need to show some patience. Freshly cooked and prepared food takes time and this is an increasingly popular establishment. I would describe as cafe style eating. Whether its the Channa Daal, Houmous, halloumi, chicken byriani, Qabuli chicken/lamb, chicken/lamb charsi karahi, Afghan style red kidney beans, Chaplin kebab paties, chicken or lamb or mixed tikka or lamb kofta - I recommend all. For drinks would recommend mint or green tea (loose tea) or mango lassi (glass or jug) or a fresh juice. I prefer to eat in, but take away is also available. A friendly and hardworking team. Ramya Great coffee, calm and comfortable space. Lovely staff. The chicken bagel ( polo Italiana) is a must 10/10. Highly recommend.
