melissa kocacinar We had an amazing time here, the person serving us was lovely she had a great energy that filled the restaurant and made eating there very enjoyable. We also loved the food, it was absolutely delish! We loved the jerk chicken, plantain, rum chocolate cake, the cocktails and everything was a 100/10

Santiago Mc Cormick Hands down the best pub on the south side of the river, right by Vauxhall Bridge! The views are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The food was delicious (proper pub classics done really well) and the whole team made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Big shoutout to Nachi who served us — she was so attentive and friendly

Joshua W Great pub in a quiet area. The fries served were amazing too! Food took a bit longer than expected to arrive but was worth the wait!

Karis Browne Amazing food served by an even better host. Amar, the owner, is charismatic and made me feel very welcome. The mushroom soup was perfect for a cold day.

Jollof Mama - Lambeth

edmund price My first taste of west African food, the jollof was very nice, but personally I wish that it would be served with a separate side of yoghurt to balance out the spiciness. The spice was a bit of a surprise to me. Atmosphere was wonderful, reminds me of a pannier market sort of atmosphere, even struck up conversations with complete strangers, that was nice. For London it is cheap, about 14 quid a meal. Though that being said, in other parts of the UK you could get a good Sunday roast for ÂŁ14, is it equal to me to a roast dinner? no, but I imagine that many west Africans in London could enjoy this taste of home made for them, without the effort I imagine it takes to do yourself. I suppose its worth trying at least once, because like me in my situation visiting the city from a rural backwater, it is worth seeing what the world has to offer
