Kyle Lavill Had the curry goat meal from their pop up shop in Horsham I travel up amd down the country with work and this is hands down one of the best curry goat dishes Ive had good price good friendly service and even more importantly GOOD GOOD food full of flavour if Im ever in Horsham at the same time again Ill definitely becoming back for more One love from Mr Sheffield Well came back for more after not being down here for a while and all I can say is its got better with time still the same lovely lady brightening peoples days with that big smile the food never fails to slap just wish they was closer to Sheffield so I could bankrupt myself on these guys food again 1 love from Mr Sheffield (picture is half eaten was too good to not dive straight in)

Pinal (PKP) Wow the chicken bao buns were fantastic and full of flavour- best I’ve had. Pad Thai and Nasi dishes were amazing. To top it off the food was hot on arrival so thumps up for great overall experience!!

N M Had a really lovely dinner. The restaurant has a dark, cosy feel with beautiful paintings along the walls, lovely for a relaxed winter evening. I had the rabbit & tarragon pie with rosemary carrots and broccoli. The pie was memorable because instead of the usual pastry lid on a dish, it came as a round pastry ball filled with the pie inside. It felt special and tasted absolutely delicious. Trifle was also good. It wasn’t very busy when I visited (early dinner), but it was a calm, comfortable atmosphere. Service was good and attentive without being overbearing.

Black Queen A Masterclass in Flavour and Heart — Rapchar is My New Favourite! Oh my days — this place has officially taken the number one spot on my foodie list, and trust me, I’ve been to a few. I started with the scallops and honestly? Absolutely exquisite. Perfectly cooked, bursting with flavour, and beautifully presented — everything on that plate earned its place. That’s the key here: so much freshness, so much flavour, and zero filler. For my main, I had fish with prawns, served with a cauliflower foam that completely blew me away. You could actually taste the cauliflower — light but still with body, and the flavour balance was spot-on. It was the kind of dish that manages to be both comforting and high-end dining at the same time — pure talent. The presentation across every plate was exceptional. You could tell real care had gone into every detail. The mac and cheese side was rich, creamy, and deeply satisfying — proper comfort food but refined. I didn’t even reach for the salt and pepper once (and that says a lot). I had sorrel to drink — rich, vibrant, and packed with flavour — the perfect pairing to cut through the richness of the dishes. I’ve never had sorrel like it (sorry, Mum). Unfortunately, I didn’t have room for dessert — tragic, I know — but that just gives me an excuse for next time. The service was exceptional — food arrived quickly, staff were polite and genuinely lovely, and the vibe was relaxed, friendly, and unpretentious. Even though the restaurant was full, the layout made it feel intimate, with a warm, family atmosphere. My only downside? When the chef came out to greet everyone, I did what any self-respecting foodie would do and offered him my hand in marriage. Sadly, he declined. I can only assume that i was at the back of a very long queue, because his food was slamming. Rapchar nails it: high-end food, comforting flavours, zero pretence, and genuine hospitality. I’ve already booked my next visit, because once is simply not enough! Well done, Rapchar — you’ve set the bar sky-high.
