5 /5 Lorna Mitchell: Order food for 11 person , for my mums birthday meal. The food was very very nice, everyone saying how the food and was worth the money we paid for. We still have leftovers and everyone took home.

5 /5 Junior Shabazz: Ive passed this place a number of times but never stopped. I decided to get some food here as its the only West Indian takeaway on the strip. This place is a throwback to an original street food place you would find anywhere in the Caribbean. Its a bit awkward as theres a big table in the front and you can feel that you might be disturbing the guys when you walk in. However, this is not the case. service is excellent, and there is a wide display of food and sides. I got goat curry and rice and peas, and it was perfect. Well spiced and the flavours were all coming through. Portion size was good and not stuffed full of rice with a little bit of meat on the side. I got a large which definitely hit the spot so I was lucky not to order any sides as I was full. Great place to get food and I would say its right up there if you want the real thing at a very reasonable price. I will be coming back.

4 /5 Haynes C.: This place feels like where the locals gathered in mealtime and have good chats about everything or the politics on their TV. Nice vibe. Chef Kevin is friendly so as his customers. Food feels homemade. I like the jerk chicken, and the spicy carrots that was cooked with bonnet pepper. My friend liked their curry goat.

5 /5 Ronda Zelezny-Green: Absolutely incredible! Likely to be my "go to" spot in South London for Caribbean food. Can eat-in or takeaway. As other commenters noted, the portions are large and the menu prices are small. Please note that the menu prices in the photos shown are not up-to-date but its just a 50p price difference. We had the goat curry with rice and peas, stew chicken with hard food, and then lamb and chicken patties. Curry and stew had tons of meat, patties did as well. Perhaps the best part of visiting this place was the proprietor. We forgot to get his name but hes the kindest guy ever and today service-oriented. He cooks himself and the restaurant and kitchen area are clean. It was comfortable to eat in here and it definitely had a positive neighborhood vibe. We will definitely be back!!! Tastes better than some food we had on vacation in Jamaica over a decade ago. Totally deserves all the positive reviews!

4 /5 m: Tasty food, great price, not much available which was disappointing but expected smh. The service was brilliant, very friendly hospitable gentleman. The shop could do with a do up/ clean. Didn’t get a proper look as I was in and out but it did put me off a bit.
