Kumquat Restaurant - Tunbridge Wells - (Near East Sussex, london)

Adam Family of 4, kids 6&9, came here after a long weekend to eat and avoid cooking. Had 2 rump steaks, cooked exactly as wed asked, all the food was hot and plentiful, kids ate off the larger kids menu, cheeseburger was loved by the 6 year old, and tacos were also good. They were chicken wraps, not tacos though, and the 9 year old loved them. Kids drinks were big, menus needed a wipe down, and I brushed some crumbs off the bench, apart from that, it was great. Used the app to order at the table rather than go to the bar, food arrived quickly. Havent been here to eat for a while but would def recommend based on this visit. Just ordered dessert, watch this space.

Ivan Galt I got some chicken tenders on a whim as I had to wait for a train. Just finished them and Im highly satisfied. Great service, the serving was generous and the chicken was fried beautifully. I was also offered a choice of dips - the Nashville sauce was a good level of heat :) 5/5 cannot fault and would recommend to my mother.

Linda Holness Burger very tasty and fills the bread roll unlike some burger vans where the 1/4 lb is tiny. Hot dog very tasty too and is a jumbo sausage Bread always fresh and never dry.so I think this explains a bit pricey. Staff friendly. Now for my complaint! Very bad shame and great disappointment that they no longer do CHIPS which were the best in town even beating local chip shops. After the chip fryer broke they havent replaced it bad move get a new fryer please. Shame on you The Lunch Box B&Q carpark please make this customer happy again

ssy k Walked up to the doors for a lunchtime family celebration, the smells from the smoker reaching everywhere and a warm welcome at the front doors. Food and Chefs were quick and the food itself was super tasty, clean, fresh and well presented! Charlie looked after us and was always attentive. Can not fault him and his wonderful manners! Really made us feel at ease and relaxed. Great restaurant and should be shouted about more!

Prema Gopal I feel there is an extreme shortage of place where I can buy authentic Indian food and this is a great place. I am a fussy eater and their food is so good. They also only charge reasonably and are not greedy. Staff are so kind and respectful. I hope they stay as they are as a lot of good places seem to close down. I support them 100%.
