Charlotte Bramanis What an amazing addition to Broad Street vendors. Figured Id give this a go instead of an overpriced pre-heated dessert from the restaurant I was at, and so glad I did. The waffle on a stick was A-MAZE-ING. Well worth the money! I spoke to the owner while our fresh waffles were being made; theyve only been there a couple of weeks and still getting organised, that being said, the small waffle selection at the moment is worth going to try! Crepes and other snacks coming soon!

Nora Mohamed I love the place! Great atmoshere, great food, and frindely staff. We ordered falafel wrap and tea with mint , it was so delicious. Also, I got flat white , it was very good. I also recommend the vegetarian breakfast. Id love to come back and try other dishes.

Abdulla Elsharkawy First time trying this restaurant and I will definitely be back. The food and service were fantastic. I ordered the chicken souvlaki meridia after asking for a recommendation. The portion size was great for the price and the flavor was amazing. The chicken paired perfectly with the warm pita, and together with the special sauce, it brought everything together really well. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend.

Namhang Sundeep Limbu I just had an excellent meal that hit all the right notes! The buffet had a fantastic variety, and everything was super fresh—definitely made it easy to go back for seconds. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, I cant recommend this place enough; Ill be back soon!

H L-J Ive been eating at Afghan Flavours, Reading for circa 18 months now. I was introduced by my sisters friend and have kept coming back on my own, with a my sister or in small groups. Its very reliable, tasty, fresh and hot food. Family friendly. Very reasonably priced for the quality and freshness. You can see the kitchen from the counter too. Other reviews mentioning service speed need to show some patience. Freshly cooked and prepared food takes time and this is an increasingly popular establishment. I would describe as cafe style eating. Whether its the Channa Daal, Houmous, halloumi, chicken byriani, Qabuli chicken/lamb, chicken/lamb charsi karahi, Afghan style red kidney beans, Chaplin kebab paties, chicken or lamb or mixed tikka or lamb kofta - I recommend all. For drinks would recommend mint or green tea (loose tea) or mango lassi (glass or jug) or a fresh juice. I prefer to eat in, but take away is also available. A friendly and hardworking team. Riccardo Rossi I ordered food from here 2 Daily Specials that contained the fallowing A beef soup that was delicious made me feel like home Chiken in tomato souce with polenta not a fan of polenta but was delicious and as desert a choclate biscuit cake massive portions plus a can of soda all that was £15 a meal so I paid £32.50 for the 2 of them with delivery honestly nowehere you get that for £15 a full course meal with desert and drink and to be delicious I totally recommand it
