Paul H We had a fantastic evening at Koyal. The restaurant offers a different touch of sophisticated Indian dining experience but still at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend trying out one of their special cocktails. The Kid Goat Methi Keema starter was the absolute standout—tender, perfectly spiced, and full of depth, the Muntjac Dum Biryani was to die for. Because the chefs come from a Michelin-star background (Gymkhana), the flavors are incredibly refined and layered. It’s a joy to have this level of regional, Himalayan-inspired gastronomy right here in Surbiton. You get Mayfair-quality food without the need to trek into Central London. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore "proper" Indian cooking!

Sérgio Paulino Really nice local Indian restaurant. Friendly staff, very welcoming. Prices are a must. Always go for the Garlic Naan and the Chutney Tray. Malayan chicken and Biryani.

Angel Dan This is our second time at this nice, small pizzeria. The staff are always friendly and helpful, even when they are very busy. The food is really tasty and worth the price. It is now our favourite restaurant in Surbiton! We want to give a special thanks to the, Ioana. She is very kind and pays great attention to the customers. Bonnie Kwan We were tourist and were introduced to this restaurant by some local friends who highly recommended it. Since we were traveling with children, we arrived a bit earlier than the usual dinner crowd. On the way to the toilet, I happened to pass by the pizza oven and saw the chef preparing the pizza dough. My child was so excited that we stopped to ask a few questions, and the chef kindly explained that the pizzas here are made in true Neapolitan style — simple, wholesome ingredients, healthier by nature. He told us the dough is fermented at a low temperature for 72 hours, and baked in an oven of over 400°C. Hearing this alone, I already knew we had come to the right place. There were seven of us, including three kids, and we ordered seafood pasta, risotto, a few pizzas, and garlic bread. Every single dish was delicious, but the one that I still dream about was the seafood pasta. It was served wrapped in a baking sheet, and as soon as it was opened, the rich aroma of tomato sauce filled the air. The seafood was undeniably fresh, with the squid pre-grilled to perfection, adding depth of flavor. We enjoyed it so much that not a single trace was left on the plate. It has been two weeks since I returned to Hong Kong, and I still cannot forget that meal. I truly feel it would be unfair not to leave a glowing review for such an exceptional dining experience.

Evie Groves Hadn’t booked a table but after a very warm greeting was shown to a lovely cosy table. Waitress was lovely and polite. Recommended a couple of things off the menu. Love the decor. The new owner introduced himself and you can see he’s put his heart and soul into this new business. Very nice vibe. Food was delicious. The lamb was like butter. Melted in your mouth. Delicious olives. Great service. As a local I will be back and back again. Good luck and many thanks.

Hayley Price We had a lovely meal there for two for a pre christmas treat. Kate and her staff were so friendly and helpful and the food , especially the pork tomahawk was delicious. Would definitely go back . Really cosy christmas vibe
