5 /5 Shaun Mc Queen: Sitting almost perfectly at the midpoint of the Thames, Midpoint Restaurant is a real delight and a wonderful example of just how good Turkish food and hospitality can be.
I often find myself popping in, not only for the outstanding food but also for the beautiful surroundings and the fantastic views, which make it a pleasure to visit at any time of day.
The food, quite simply, is exceptional. From the comforting lentil soup to the breakfast and lunch options, and especially the mixed kebab, every dish is consistently delicious. Each visit reminds me just how much care and quality goes into the cooking.
I would also like to highlight the service, which is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming across the board. In particular, Kristiana and Anil who both deserve special mentions. They’re consistently warm, attentive, and professional, always serving with a genuine smile and offering excellent recommendations, whether for food or the occasional cocktail. If you have the pleasure of being served by either, you are truly in for a treat. But of course all of the staff are great.
I keep coming back because this restaurant is one of Greenwich’s hidden gems. If you are willing to step slightly off the beaten track, you will be well rewarded. It certainly deserves to be discovered by many more people.
