Stefan Hyun Lee In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Dorking. It seems like quite new (or recently renovated) judging by interior and the menu but everything is done very nicely. Food is outstanding and very friendly staff. Good selection of a la carte menu and some courses as well. Could improve on hot beverage selection but there are plenty of cold drink options. Highly recommended!

James L Very enjoyable evening with food that was full of surprises. The decor is more cafe style and menu towards street food. The food was top quality, full of flavour, meat very tender. The menu items include a lot of twists on some original Indian classics. A nice choice of beers including a local Dorking Brewery XPA. Our daughter is gluten free and the waiter had perfect advice on which dishes were safe to eat. He was very knowledgable on dietary requirements.

G M Our experience for lunch was very good. The service is impeccable by the Italian waiter. Many of the courses were standouts, such as the tartare and other appetisers, the cod, the stone bass, and the chocolate mousse (best mousse I’ve ever had). The very last surprise course at the end is a touch of genius - I won’t spoil it because I really appreciated the surprise factor. The duck was slightly underwhelming - I think it would benefit from the skin being crunchy. Food quantity was good. The lunch lasted probably 2h which is my personal max but that’s subjective, some people like it longer/shorter. The food kept coming throughout the 2h which is key - we were not left waiting for courses. The choice of wine by the glass is limited but we found a good 1er cru Chablis, which though was very overpriced. The venue is cozy, but not a highlight. The tables are large and sofa seating is comfortable. The kitchen looks very nice with big windows and light coming in, which I’m sure helps the chef and cooks there do a good job. The bill came at 380gbp for 2 tasting menus and 3 glasses of wine.
