5 /5 Your Next Food Trip: The overall experience at restaurant 1890 was excellent, and I can now see why the restaurant was awarded 1 Michelin star. It’s almost hidden in a small section of the Savoy that’s luxurious in its own right. I had the lunch set at £90, which already includes 3 of the 5 dishes featured on the full tasting menu. Everything was excellent. It’s a great place to take a date.

5 /5 Nick Hoar: This is probably my new best ever meal, I cant fault anything and there was much to be delighted by. Some dishes at first felt and tasted one way and then morphed into something entirely different. It became an evening of discovery, surprise and delight as each of the multiple little courses revealed themselves. The excellence did not stop with the food. The service was excemplary. Ive never experienced such attention to detail, it was like our waiters were choreographed with each movement of dishes and drinks perfectly and gracefully sychronised. Thank you Gordon Ramsay and the team at 1890 for a wonderful celebration for my wifes big birthday.

5 /5 Khánh Tín Nguyễn: I highly appreciate the restaurant for the way they handled a small incident. My family reserved a table for 2 adults and 1 child. We only remembered to mention that we would be bringing a child under 10 years old and asked whether the restaurant would accept that. Both the restaurant and I forgot to confirm that we would only need 2 tasting menus for the adults. My child would not be dining, just sitting with us. As a result, the restaurant prepared 3 tasting menus. Right after finishing the amuse-bouche, we clarified the situation. Normally, I would have been required to pay for all 3 tasting menus without being able to cancel at that point. Fortunately, the restaurant agreed to serve and charge us for only 2 tasting menus. The food and quality were absolutely worth the price for such a culinary experience. We truly value this restaurant!

5 /5 The cunning slytherin: The restaurant is located at The Savoy Hotel. Need to reserve in advance, they will confirm your attendance and any dietary restrictions. We had dinner here. Do plan for a 3+ hours time to enjoy the tasting menu thoroughly. There were no ala carte menu. The tasting menu comes with amuse bouche, bread with butter, 2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 desserts, and petit four. There is also an option for additional caviar and / or additional cheese platters for extra $. The cheese platters were absolutely delicious. You get to choose 5 different type of cheese from the cheese cart. There were also pairing menu with wine, but we did not go for that. We had a few cocktails, "XV" was my favorite. Although each of the portion looks small, at the end of the tasting menu you will feel really full. Service was great, all the servers were very attentive, knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We got the tasting menu list with us at the end. Great atmosphere to eat with your family or friends.
