2 /5 Olyden Johnson: Shawa Lebanese Grill - Westfield Food ready Already? Sadly I didnt enjoy my meal at Shawa. Im not sure why I was told my food was ready a few seconds after I had made my order. It obviously wasnt cooked fresh. The felafel was so hard, I thought it would fly all over the room if I tried too hard to cut into it. As you can see from the pictures, the menu options were very limited and hardly representive of Lebanese cuisine. I dont know if chips are really something you would have with Lebanese food or an attemp to fill a plate with cheap carbohydrates. The service was neutral at best. The lady merely processed the transaction.

5 /5 Bianca Ryan: The service here was amazing, really efficient and friendly. Server checked for allergies before processing our order. The food was surprisingly perfect. The flavour balance was great and sauces were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend as an affordable but filling option. We got the rice bowl and was not disappointed by the choice at all. My partner got the housemate mango drink which was a big hit.

2 /5 Shanay Tia: Food is not that great. Was a disappointment I would have had the same satisfaction from burger and chips for less price. Chicken was reheated from being cooked earlier but still warm. The chips and strawberry lemonade was good so I’ll give 2 stars.

1 /5 Sarah H: Heard about this restaurant and have been wanting to try it. Ordered a shawarma bowl to go, service was average at the beginning. However, when I went to take my first bite of food, I noticed something sticking out of it. A Fingernail. Nothing of the sort has ever happened to me at any other establishment. I went back to tell them this and showed them the fingernail also, and their first response was to deny that it was a fingernail, when it VERY clearly was. I reiterated that it was, and the manager didn’t offer any apologies or offer me a refund, he just looked at me and said ‘Well what do you want me to do?’. I was taken aback and said that I obviously wanted a refund, card if possible. He then got the money out of the till and handed it to me without saying another word. Not once did I hear them apologise or offer any solution to the problem, or even say this has never happened before, which is the sort of response you would expect from a business. It could be called a mistake, but extremely unprofessional in their response for an issue that was clearly on them, with no attempts to reconcile the matter.
