Sarah Backshaw Amazing restaurant and delicious food! My husband booked this for my birthday and what a treat it was. The atmosphere was cosy and everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. A special shoutout to our server Stacy who was so funny, friendly and attentive from start to finish. The service didn’t feel rushed at all and we truly felt completely looked after, nothing was too much of an ask. We will definitely be back! Thank you again

Krasi Ivanov Nice and warm, cosy restaurant. Very polite service. Probably the best pizza in Oxfordshire - well done !! Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ingredients. Will be back, thats for sure. Constructive feedback to the management: The white spot lights could feel a but too bright, reducing the romantic atmosphere. Also, we understand delays and why they happen, would be nice if they are announced at the start of the booking, just to manage expectations.

Matteo S. A piece of Italy in Oxford. I had trofie with pesto and focaccia bread, and they were fantastic. I’m Italian, and for me this is a real Italian restaurant!

Heat Afro Lounge - Oxfordshire

Mahliqa After a long day moving house in the heat, we were hoping for a hearty meal. We ordered jollof rice, egusi with fufu, and pepper soup. The jollof? Meh - bland and stingy on the portion. The egusi? V.oily but full of flavour - honestly the star of the show. But then came the meat situation. Each dish had one real piece of meat. The rest? .. Unchewable slabs of skin and fat masquerading as food (pictured) - the disrespect. I get that cow skin is a thing but this one clearly missed its softening appointment. Atmosphere-wise, the music was club-level loud. We couldnt hear the staff, and they couldn’t hear us. Cleanliness was questionable (sticky tables), and the vibe among staff was more house party than hospitality. I won’t be back, but shoutout to the egusi for carrying the whole night. 2/5 for that alone.
