Spinnaker Kitchen and Bar - (Near Hampshire, london)

Alexander Fergusson-Cooper If I could give this place one star I would... They have ruined pizza for me, it was by far the best Ive had, no other will compare. My partner and I shared the nduja/scotch bonnet and the chicken/paneer. Both were truly superb. The dough had a terrific flavour, but the toppings on each were perfectly balanced and flavoursome. We started with the cauliflower hummus - something we await to recreate! The service was outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly, without being over the top, again, a perfect balance. Wine list fantastic and comprehensive (the reason we came here - (fathers a wine merchant!) maître d was knowledgeable and showed us the bottle of wine we were curious about. Atmosphere was warm, welcoming, relaxed, and the use of acoustic tiles on the ceiling work as both an interesting feature and more importantly to reduce the sound in the bar/restaurant. I am hugely disappointed we are only in Portsmouth for an evening - had we live in the vicinity, we would surely adopt The A Bar as a regular venue. A venue for everyone, we were made to feel like long standing customers - warm and welcoming. If ever in Portsmouth again, we will rush back!

oki david Hands down the best spot in Portsmouth! I came to Indulge X for a night out and was blown away. The Jollof rice was fire – so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Their chicken wings were crispy and spicy, just how I like them. And the cocktails? 10/10 – creative, strong, and super tasty. But what really makes Indulge X stand out is the vibe. The music was lovely , they played the latest Afrobeats song , the DJ kept the energy up all night. This is definitely the number one Afrobeats nightclub in Portsmouth. Great people, great food, amazing nightlife. I’ll definitely be back!

Yee Gan Ong Dim sum is probably best explained as Chinese tapas - an assortment of dumplings, croquettes etc. Traditionally only served at breakfast and lunchtime I live in the wilds of Hampshire. Dim sum hut is the closest restaurant to me serving freshly made dim sum. Luckily for me, they serve good quality dim sum with a good variety of dishes They also do a traditional menu but I’m usually here for dim sum lunch. The staff do a good job, especially when it gets really busy

Donna Finch I had a lovely carvery here, Sunday. The food was outstanding. Fresh choice of 4 different meats, outstanding gravy, gorgeous roast potatoes. Yorkshire puddings as big as your head! 5 different veg and amazing cauliflower cheese. The atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday. The ship and castle was totally spotless, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be back with my family. Best Sunday lunch in a very long time.

Sallyanne Curd Love the quirky modern take on how sailors would decorate a restaurant. Food was fresh and hot, they let you have more than 1 sausage!

Ieuan Moraghan dinned here this evening was fantastic the chef, China i think her name was? prepared the food to a great standard and was very polite and seemed customer focused. a welcome change nowadays compared to what you see in other places. had fish and chips and it tasted amazing
