5 /5 Alfie Houchin: Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. The service was absolutely outstanding, attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. The staff made us feel valued and ensured every detail of our experience was perfect. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and arrived promptly. The drinks were just as impressive. The cocktail menu is creative and well-balanced, and the wine selection pairs wonderfully with the menu. You can tell a lot of thought goes into what they serve behind the bar. Speaking of the bar area, it’s stylish, comfortable, and has such a great atmosphere, perfect whether you’re stopping in for a quick drink or settling in for the evening. And the fireplace adds such a warm, cozy touch. It creates an inviting ambiance that makes you want to relax and stay awhile. Overall, a flawless experience from start to finish. We’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic night out!

1 /5 Neil Huntington: What a disappointment! We booked this place ahead of celebrating a 70th birthday. Upon walking in and confirming our booking there was no recognition of the celebration. After being seated we waited to be brought a wine menu, so after 5 minutes the waiter, dressed in his casual best with little to no motivation or interest in his work, came back and asked us what we wanted to drink so we asked for the wine list which was brought to us. They have limited soft drinks, after which a lemonade was ordered which was heavy on the soda syrup and tasted like it had 10 teaspoons of added sugar. This was sent back. The starters were delivered and the breaded slow cooked beef was over deep fried and the baked camembert was solid and over baked. This was all sent back. The mains were standard. We had ordered the steak and malbec pie, two orders of fish and chips and a burger. The fish was over fried and over salted, the burger was OK, but had a lot of gristle in and the pie had a lot of beef gristle and sinew! I had trouble finding the steak meat. All in all we decided not to have desert, but more importantly decided not to return.

5 /5 Daniel Gustafsson: Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Had seabass and this dish was simply amazing! The best fish in memory. Very friendly, welcoming service as well and the restaurant is warm, cosy and very inviting. Recommended!

2 /5 Chris Winter: Lovely pub inside, staff were very friendly and the two servers were very attentive and helpful. Online booking was very easy, and booking was confirmed by text. Unfortunately the cost of the roast doesn’t align with the quality, greens were disappointing / yorkshire puddings were huge! But tasted like they had been re heated from another service, roasties weren’t crisp and the advertised “bottomless gravy” definitely wasn’t bottomless, in fact no one once checked during the meal. I will be back, everyone has an off day - the staff are great but don’t see the value of the roast.
