What Clients Are Saying The Coast House (GG)
4 /5 Darryl Pitman: Used this restaurant several times whilst staying at Hoburne Naish, Staff friendly and helpful plus kindly put the darts on for me, Plenty of tables and service was good, only disappointment was not great vegetarian choice on menu, However the vegetarian burger was superb and so was the breakfast, Will return on our next visit.
4 /5 S.L.A.: Nice enough for what it is and, convenient if you want to eat on site. The bar is pretty well equipped and the staff were very polite.
4 /5 David Rees: Visited here twice on our weekend to Naish. Once when we arrived we ordered a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc which at £33 we did gawp. Yes, expected to be £28-30 usually. But can be found as low as £25 even in central London.
Anyway, sat and drank it in the very limited and poorly furnished outside space to the front of the clubhouse.
On the Monday we queued outside the clubhouse until 9am when it opened and we ordered breakfast. The food was excellent. Everyone agreed. We were the only customers and there were 2/3 staff.
When I ordered the young lady took the order (5 drinks for 3 people) and asked if I wanted a tray I said yes please. But upon realising that the order would take a while to manufacture 1 latte, 1 mocha & 1 tea. I decided to slope back to our table to where the young lady eventually bought the drinks for us.
I just felt that this should have been offered, there were no other customers and clearly I didn’t want to stand at the bar for several minutes waiting to carry a tray. We had sat down for a meal.
Just felt a little poor service if I’m honest, maybe understandable if busy.
5 /5 Sarah Thomas: Delicious bavette steak tonight with a free bottle of wine.
Definitely recommend
5 /5 William G: Serves coffee and cakes but there is also a bar. Minimal wait to be served with indoor and outdoor seating. Access to the crazy golf and arcade area from that outside seating makes it relaxing for the adults and fun for that children.
VP We were so lucky to stumble upon The Cinnamon Stick. Located in the small village of Middle Barton where you’d expect nothing around, this restaurant is a total standout. It offers a true taste of Lebanese hospitality and home-style cooking.
The quality of food is incredible. Almost everything is made in-house (except for the gelato), and you can really taste the difference. The dishes are authentic, fresh, and truly delicious. It is rare to find such high-quality Mediterranean flavors in this area.
The staff is lovely and provides genuine Lebanese hospitality. You can tell the team cares about their guests and the food they serve. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in.
If you are anywhere near Oxfordshire, this place is worth the detour. Huge thanks to the team for their service and for bringing such amazing flavors to a quiet corner of the country!
Alina Ababei Amazing food and amazing people! Extremely reasonable prices and the Karaoke night topped the cake! I will definitely be back to enjoy this amazing place

Lucy Robson We went for my Moms birthday as she is coeliac. She loved that she didn’t have to worry about what she was eating and the selection of options was great. You couldn’t even tell the food was gluten free. Would definitely go again!
S S I ordered chicken soup from Sheldon’s. The lady immediately phoned me when I placed the order and said there was no chicken soup however there was lamb. so I ordered the lamb The only thing which was slow was the delivery. The lamb soup had enough lamb had enough vegetables had enough Spinners …it was delicious. Hit the spot.
